Study permit for MAY intake, still waiting...

Hi Guys,

I applied for my study permit on feb 10th 2016 and it still says you're visa application is being processed at Canada Visa Office Bangalore.

I heard refusals are done quick and approval's usually take time, but a lot of ppl did get their approval mail's quick too. so just wanted to know if this is true? According to cic the usual processing time for india is 2 weeks now but it's been more than 4 weeks in my case. Anyone who had the same issue? and got a refusal mail even after 4 or 5 weeks after submission or approval like most ppl say?

Also anyone else who applied around the same time and is still waiting for a reply from the consulate?

Put a case specify query on cic website, here is the link. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.
You will get answer soon. My friend also had similar problem with bangalore vfs.

@ gsohi2011 Thanks man will do that, did you're friend get his approval mail after the query?

No they doubted his work exp. So he had go through calls from embassy to him as well as his hr and he finally got it after sending additional docs.

Are you guys applying under General Category or SPP?
