Dear all: applied for study permit for english short course (2 weeks-JULY 2012) almost 2 months back. No response as yet for CHC, ISB. Will my LOA expire delaying my vacation plans more? This is not fair. How much more I have to wait? Any experiences, plz. share/advise.

thanks,

but how you got a response before me??? ::)

I have no freaking idea. May be they don't prefer Pakistani applicants for the course like yours (it's just my guess)

If you are going for 2 weeks' course then you don't require a study permit. You only Temporary Resident Visa.

i v a freakin idea. they are kinda discriminating on he basis of courses and schools. something isnt adding up! its not the filing date that matters, its the school/course i guess!

thats not fair!!!

inam- what is that a mistake? applied ofr a study permit for less than 6 months study. will they require bigger bank statement??? my plan is to find a new sponsor (my uncle) to further study and change courses!

You can apply for less than 6 months, it's not a mistake. If you secure a SP for less than 6 months then you can extend it from within Canada.

Bigger statement for what? Why new sponsor?
