Study Permit Extension

Hi,

So I was trying to renew my study permit online inside Canada since I renewed my expired passport. On March 15, I received a message that I have to do a medical exam, since my previous medical test result is getting old. Following that I made a booking on March 26 for the exam as I was given only 30 days to do the exam. On March 22, however, I received another message saying that my application is approved and they will send the study permit to me. I'm confused but I still proceed with the medical exam yesterday. Today, I received my study permit in the mail, however the expiry date is only until 2018/07/31 whereas my study will not be finished until 2020. Do you think I have to reapply for the study permit? Also when do you guys think is better for me to renew my Canadian Visa?

does your letter of enrollment indicate your expected date of graduation?

I applied it on February 17. Yes, the expected graduation date on my letter of enrolment is until 2020.

Im happy to hear some update. I applied for mine on Feb 20th and nothing yet.
Even the processing time on the website is not updating weekly, last time was March 18th.

I guess you may get it within one or two day given there is a person getting approved in 22nd Mar
