applied on december 5 for sp extension with sowp extension and sp extension for child. even the eligibility review hasnt started. it's been 5 months! and some ppl say their appl. was approved in a much shorter time.

You should reach out to your most close MP (local parliamentary) he/ she will ask to IRCC about your application on your behalf.

Just got approved finally. No in-Canada approval letter but I logged in and saw my application was updated, so I checked and it said a final decision has been made. I see my permit numbers

Did y’all receive your physical permits in the mail yet? Anyone know how long it takes before getting them?

Hi! Congrats!!! yes! I got my study permit printed, it took literally 2 days in arrived.

I have also applied for study permit extension on 12th April and its been almost 1.5 month but still i haven't received any update or response from IRCC !!

I am currently studying in Canada and I have applied for Study permit extension Feb 24th, my biometrics is expiring as well, do I paid for biometrics with my application.

However up till now I haven't received biometrics letter telling me where and when to go to do my biometrics. Is this the ideal?
Kindly advise.

I already paid for biometrics along side the application fees.

You just need to allow a bit more time, processing time is 75 days currently and some people wait a few months for updates.
