Hi guys,

This thread is dedicated to those who wish to share information on their study permit extension timelines.

I applied on Oct 17th and still nothing.

And the cic processing times haven't been updated since Nov 13, 2015. :(

hi.
my study permit expires on april 2016 and my course completes on april but i have some subjects to be cleared to get my graduation letter
so my study permit will get extended without any consequences? and i am planning to apply by december

I am kinda in the similar situation. My sp expires Nov 30 2015 and I m graduating Dec 2015. So I applied the extension.

I think you can check with your course advisor and get a letter saying that you need more time to graduate. Then use this letter to apply for the extension and it should be ok. Maybe also check with the international centre in your university. And once get the letter, apply it online ASAP.

That's called bridging study permit (90 days). You have no more courses to complete but need time to graduate.

That's bad. I thought they were reviewing the Oct 6 application when it was Nov20th. And they must have been finishing the following week's now. :(

Mine has been approved as well! Just received an email this morning and checked.

Good luck! As long as your sp got approved, those would just be the followings to be approved.
