study permit extension - LOE UPLOAD ONLINE

hi guys,

this may be a silly question but i need to extend my study permit, when they issued me my study permit it was originally for till my passport expired which was june 2017. I am getting my new passport back the end of this week and need to extend my study permit early because I will be going abroad as part of school come march 2017 so i wont be in the country to send in the application around that time.

Does anyone know if i apply for the extension online if i am able to upload a SOP/LOE so they can see why I am applying to extend it so early. As I will send the application before the end of this month.

Please let me know.

Technically, you can apply maximum 3 months in advance of expiry date.

Yeah but I have to apply earlier than the three months because I need the full period of my study permit shown when I apply for my visas for the countries Im going to for school so my letter explains that so I am not worried that it is more than 3 months in advance .
