Hey guys, please I need your advice. I got my 2-years full-time diploma at BCIT on 12-OCT-18, and I will apply for PGWP. However, my study permit expired on 31-AUG-18, and I applied for a Study Permit extension on 20-AUG-18, which I did not receive any update yet. Also, I already got the Letter of Confirmation of Graduation and the transcript which shows my whole history in a full-time program.

Two weeks ago I received a great job offer(NOC-0), which I postponed the start date twice, due to waiting for my SP Extension to be granted. Today completed 60 days.

My question: Can I start to work with my Study Permit(Implied Status)?

I have my PGWP's application package done, and as soon as I receive the SP extension, I will apply for it, which will give me the PGWP(Implied Status) to continue working.

Thank you in advance for the help.

No you cant work since you are no longer a full time student and you have received confirmation of completion.
You must wait until you apply for PGWP, also check with employer if they will let you work without the actual PGWP some will not.
To anyone else reading always apply for extension at least 3 months before!
