I've changed my program of study as soon as I arrived to Canada. I changed it within the same college. My current program is longer than initial was supposed to be and it also of a lower level (diploma program, initial was -postgraduate). So I obviously have to extend my Study Permit. My question is - might there be any problems since I changed programs although within the same college and more important - do I have to explain why I changed programs or just apply for extension?
Also, do I need an acceptance letter for a new program (even if I have studied in it for a year already) or an official letter from school confirming my good standing will be enough? thanks!

1. You will need a study permit extension letter from school, some schools have different formats than LOA.
