Study permit extension approved outside of Canada

Hello, so I got a new passport and got my study permit extended after that, in the confirmation at MyCIC it states; " A secure document has been sent to your address". So I made the mistake to enter my canadian address eventhough I was outside of Canada. So I will arrive at the border with a study permit and passport which doesnt match and my new document is inside Canada. Will this cause any problem and what should I do? And I will return to Canada in 20 days so there isnt much time left.

Hi. If I understand your situation correctly, you applied for a study permit extension (from Ottawa office) while you were overseas. I dont think your situation will pose a problem. They will have your record at the border. For safety, bring all documents as evidence.
Can you share approximately when you applied for your study permit extension and when you received the approval? Thank you.

Hi thanks for the reply, i applied online and in the application i wrote my canadian address eventhough i was overseas and now they will send the document to thst address. I sent in my application on July 9 and got the approval august 6
