Study permit extension approved, but no message?

Hi,

I applied for study permit extension in January 2017. Today I just noticed in my cic account that " Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details."

However, I did not get any messages or corresponding letter in the message section.

Is it normal?

Today I got a message in my cic account about study permit validity date. So I found its normal. Hope it will help others.

Could you please tell me the date when you applied. I applied for Study permit Extension on Feb 11th and still waiting for a decision.Processing time says 30 days for an extension.So I am bit worried. I got a notification about application update on March 7th and since then I see YOUR APPLICATION IS IN PROGRESS. No more update in last 10 days.
Your answer would be very much appreciated

Hello Guys,

I applied for my study permit extension along with my spouses OWP extension on 13-Feb-16. Mysteriously from 14-Feb to till date my submitted application disappeared and I couldn't find the application in my CIC account. Today I got an email that there is message in my account for application. I signed in but same scene no application found under submitted application section. So I decided to call CIC (IVR) and it said that both our requests for extensions are approved.

I applied on Feb 14th. Don't worry. They take longer at times. Wait till March end. It should be fine.

Can you guys tell me what's the procedure to extend the study permit for the next intake if we get our visa for the present intake?? What all documents are needed and where to send these documents? Also, are there any chances of getting visa rejected if we apply for study permit extension??
