Hello team,
I obtained my study visa<masters of engineering/ 2 years>last year 2024 and deferred my admission with the university. I did not apply for a work permit for my spouse. When I arrive in Canada, there will be 8 months remaining on my visa.
Should I extend my study permit first and then apply for my spouse's work permit?
Or, to save time, should I apply for my spouse's work permit and then proceed with extending both my study permit and my spouse's work permit?
Or should I apply for my spouse's permit before traveling so that they can travel with me?
Please advise, and thank you for your efforts.
