I applied Feb 2nd for study permit + spouse open work permit extension. My maintained status for work expires end of July.
Did you receive any other updates between the first ghost update and the correspondence letter?
Thanks for sharing exciting news. Could you please share you timeline, including expiring date of the temporary letter (authorization to work) and work permit
Actually mine was Study Permit Extension because I am a PhD student but got visa for only 6 months. My husband is on spouse work permit and he got extension till this July after applying for extension.
Our timeline
applied on 4th January.
Biometric validity 21 May
Approval 22 May
My study permit is valid now till 1/12/2027
My study permit expires in September end.
I applied for Study Permit Extension + Extension of Co-op Work Permit as well, because I am currently on a co-op as well.
Timeline:
May 14 - Applied.
May 14 - Submission Confirmation.
May 15 - Ghost Update (Got an email "We updated your application status", no update when logged in. Did someone encounter this issue as well?)
