study permit expiry date

Hello,

On my visa, I have 31 of december of 2013 as my expiry date.

However on my study permit I have 31 march 2014 as 'valid until', which
means that the study permit is valid beyond my canadian visa.

So can i still remain in Canada beyond 31 december 2013?

You can stay in canada as long as your Study permit is valid. The visa is for travel only - you need a valid visa to re-enter canada if you leave the country.
If you decide to travel you should get your visa renewed.
