Study permit expired while waiting for pgwp to be approved

Hi all,
I just have a quick question.
My study permit expired November 20 and I am still waiting on my pgwp.
I applied for pgwp someday on September while my study permit was valid.
Am I okay to stay in Canada and continue to work?
My SIN number also got expired with my study permit so I am not sure if I can apply for the extension.
Please help me out if you know the answer!!

You must be in implied status now and if so you can work until they have made decision about your pgwp without any restriction on condition that you will remain in Canada until they decide. You can still work with the expired SIN number but as soon as you got your PGWP first thing you must do is to renew your SIN number. Even you try to apply for extension for SIN you can not because system will ask your work permit and you dont have one yet
