Study permit expired when apply Post graduation work permit

has anyone successful apply for Post graduation work permit under same situation as mine? I really need advice. my study permit is expired Dec 31, 2017. I just received my letter for completing my program Jan 11, 2018.

I have no clue for my situation. Can I apply for Post graduation work permit?

You must be holding a valid study permit when you apply for a PGWP.

You should have renewed your study permit before it expired. Because you failed do to that, you must now apply to restore your status and extend your study permit - and also apply for the PGWP.

Make sure you're not working right now.

My study permit is expired so I applied for restoration of status as a visitor. But I have to apply for my post graduation work permit I don’t know can I apply or not for my work permit after change my visa student into visitor pls help me reply this

Yes you can now apply for pgwp as long as you have any valid status, study permit is no longer required. However you cant work if you apply after study permit expires until you actually get the pgwp.

Yes this is called flagpoling so look it up. There is a possibility you will be told to go make an online application anyway if you catch them in a bad mood.
