Hey!

I've studied 2 years in Canada, though it was 2 different courses (same school), I had 1 single Study Permit that lasted until March 15th 2017.

I graduated on March 9th 2017, left Canada on March 13th and did not apply for an extension. Life was moving so fast I didn't have time to do it, so I just left the country.

Is there any way I can come back to the country? I don't think I'm eligible for the PGWP because my school isn't on the list.

I could apply for the PGWP but as far as I know, you need a valid study permit and still be inside of Canada.

Can I ask for a restoration?

It's a bummer that I've spent such a long time and so much money and now It seems I have to start over.

Cheers!

You need to be holding a valid study permit in order to apply for a PGWP. You cannot restore your status from outside of Canada - so you would need to apply for a new study permit. To be approved for a PGWP, you must also apply for the PGWP within 90 days of completing your program. Given today is the 8th of June - I think you're too late.

If your school also isn't on the list - then there's absolutely no point in trying to apply for the PGWP. It's going to be refused.

Hi Scylla,

Thanks for the reply.

Yea it seems that there's nothing left for me to do, I can either find a job from outside of Canada or go study again.

I missed my chance to extend my study permit, real bummer :(

Cheers.
