I know this question has been asked many times but ive seen none to date
If there is one for this year, kindly just post it here

For the medical examination done for student visas is there a drug test? for thc?
I just need to know and are you given a specified time before the appointment?

To the best of my knowledge,i dont think there is any drug test to be carried out by CIC approved medical practitioners .

It depends on how you want the medical test to be done.you either wait for the visa officer to request for your medical or you do it in advance and is called upfront medical.the latter will be the best for you in order to accelerate d processing time of your application.

Medical Examinations do not test for drugs..

There is no drug test tho, but it's part of the questions ask: if you have used drugs or have had problems with addiction. They might or might not ask tho.
