study permit bridge extension (90 days)

Hii,

My masters program ends on December 31, 2015 and my study permit and visa are also valid till December 31, 2015
I'm going to apply for a study permit bridge extension (90 days) so I can have time to apply for PGWP

Do I need a proof of financial support for bridge extension application ?
Also what type of letter you got from university ?

In online application , at check your eligibility do I choose extend study permit or extend work permit ?

It just happen to me , u still have the chance to apply for study permit extension and u need proof of finance. They grant me mine

Do you mean you can't apply for Bridge Extension ? or you actually applied on study permit extension ?

Actually apply for study permit extension they give u 3 month more after u graduation. So why stress ur self the bridge

My program ends on December 31, 2015 and my study permit expires on the same date , so I don't need to extend my study permit , I want three months more just to have time to apply for PGWP



Did you apply online ? What type of letter did you get from university/collage ?

your school.will.just write u a letter that u are a student and have this course left to graduate. anyways thats what my school did for me and they extend it more for another 3month. but in your case u should get letter of completion before December 31

I am going through the same thing right now, my program ended Sept 3rd and my study permit ended also on August 31st. I talked to the international department and called the CIC agent beforehand and they suggested I apply for a study permit extension.

School gave a letter of the new date plus wrote a note saying I need 90 days bridge to apply for PGWP.

I am now in implied status and just waiting for my application finish processing.

The proof of finance for me was the full payment of my tuition.

When I get my study permit, I will apply for the PGWP.

It's just your tuition, not including living + board ?

The letter says that my program ends on sept 3rd.

I only sent the receipts for my full paid fees. I didn't post anything else cause this is more of bridge extension. They will know I will apply for my PGWP right away.

No, its not including Living + board. I only typed the amount in the form(Copied it from the previous student permit form).

I just got an email with status update saying that my application has approved.

I applied for study permit extension on 17th of August. Application updates to approved on 9th of Sept.

Timeline makes sense because processing times is 35 days on the website.

And my application is pretty straight forward and thankfully I was honest with my paperwork.

I will be waiting for the email to tell me about further instructions.

So in Proof of finance : you just upload all your receipts of full payment of your tuitions.
You didn't upload your bank's statement ( account balance ) , right?
