Hey guys,
I submitted my study permit application online from Czech Republic on April 4, 2022. My timeline is as follows:
- April 4, Submission.
- April 5, Biometrics.
- May 16, Medical passed.
- Processing background check, eligibility review not started.
It's been more than 11 weeks, yet my status remained "Submitted" without any updates. I have raised web form once (inquiring medical status) and received the following reply from Vienna office:
"Please note, that we received the results of your medical examination and they are valid until xxxx/xx/xx. Your application is in a queue for officer’s review. We cannot provide a time frame as to when the assessment will be completed. However, we will contact you as soon as we have further information."
I wonder if any of you guys are in the same situation? I want to gather some data on the current SP processing timeline in Vienna. Any information will be appreciated.
Plus a person-specific question: I am a Chinese citizen visiting Czech on a student visa. Will this cause my application to be transferred to other visa offices for processing, or will it cause any other issues in general?
Thanks!
