Study Permit at Port of Entry

I have been waiting for about a month now for my study permit to be processed, should I just apply at the NY port of entry and get a decision there? I am a USA Citizen. Would it be a problem at the PoE if i already have an application pending?

Yes - you can apply at the port of entry.

But would my pending application that i did online prevent me to apply at the port of entry?

Hi, I'm kinda in your situation right now, how long did your study permit take to get approved ? or did you apply at PoE?
