Study Permit Approved - Visitor Extension in progress

I'm living inside Canada and I applied for my Study Permit also inside Canada and It was approved while my Visitor extension was processing at the same time. I already had applied for Visitor Extension before to do my Study Permit application.

Does anybody know if I really need wait my Visitor Extension be approved for I be able to get my Study Permit in the border?

Since you have already been approved for SP, so your application for visitor extension is now null & void. Your UCI number will have all details.

I think you need to go to the border to get the study permit by the approval letter. no need to wait for the extension.

As you mentioned the above issues, I am in the same process. Could you please help me on the process of applying for a study permit within canada and extend the visit visa as well.

Do I need to hire a lawyer or the process is straight forward which I can do myself.

Please advise.

First of all, I did not use Visa to enter in Canada as a visitor because I'm from visa-exempt country. Secondly, to do my visitor extension, I did my extension at least 30days before my expiry date, thus, I gathered all necessary documents and I filled up all forms and finally applied by myself online via My CIC.

Well, regarding my Study Permit application, I also gathered all the documents and I filled up all the forms and everything, but for make it sure that I could be approved I used a representative (Immigrant Consultant). You can do forward by yourself but I'd suggest you get a lawyer or immigrant consultant as same as I did.

Sure buddy, It took 4 weeks for I get my approval letter, and I was expecting 6 weeks!
