In my opinion, What @ayesha_llk2 meant was nothing is concrete in terms of timeline now a days due to COVID.
No but people want to know some “realistic” timeframe. The processing times may not be 100% accurate but they are a guideline. People should plan accordingly & realize that it takes weeks and/or months. On November 20, people can’t expect to apply for a study permit and think they will have approval for January 1. :)

Agree. BUT I have seen profiles, submitted in February or March for Winter intake, still don’t have decisions. That’s ample time for an SDS application to be processed. So it’s not concrete. So many things updating simultaneously causing delays or hold.
Now things are pretty much going to get worst since COVID is spreading again. But again, good news coming too for Canada, because I have heard, Canada is the first country ready to take the first Corona Vaccine..
we are all here to have good news. Need prayers and good intentions and some positivity, I’m sure we all will be through this successfully.
