Study permit application submitted on or after 31 July 2018

Hello,

Is there anybody submitted the study permit application on or after 31 July 2018?

I had saved my application in draft status since the last week of July and finally submitted on 31 July 2018.

However, at the payment stage, i was not requested to make the payment for biometrics. I only paid CAD 150 for the application fees. My passport code (LKA) is required to submit fingerprints.

Is there anyone facing the same issue? Is that a glitch in the system or have i done something wrong?

Is it possible to update the answers in a submitted online application?

So, your passport code is exempted form birometrics requirement?

What is the student acknowledgment?
So far I have only received the following 3 messages.

Confirmation of Online Application Transmission : 31-July-2018
Submission Confirmation : 31-July-2018
Medical Report - Section A Client identification and summary (IMM 1017E) : 01-Aug-2018

Sri Lankan students need to submit the biometrics, but unfortunately they didn't ask that at the time I made the online payment.
