Hello everyone,

I have been admitted to the University of Waterloo's Master of Mathematics with Thesis program for January 2020 intake, I have been awarded a fully funded scholarship that worth CAD$ 36,555 for first year. Also, based on my academic standing, my fund is at least extendable for the fourth and fifth terms of my study. I applied for my study permit on September 16th with no medical needed in my country, asked to give biometric on September 17th's evening. My biometric was completed the following day September 18th.

Then my application started processing the following day in the background check. On September 24th they started reviewing my eligibility, on the following day they sent me a request to replace my support of financial means document, I upladed my offer of admission again on the following day, but with highlighting the sections that prove the financial support of my study. On September 30th they started reviewing my replacement document.

Last update was on October 16th, they sent to me the Biometric Correspondence Letter, since then there was no update nor final decision has been made. By the way, the Correspondence Letter is sent from Ankara, Turkey instead of Amman Jordan!

The problem is that the normal processing time in Jordan is 4 weeks, which is already over almost a week ago. Furthermore, the normal processing time in Turkey is two weeks only, which also has already been over like three weeks ago!!!

What should I do? Is it normal to get a Correspondence Letter with no decision?

As I read on IRCC website the Correspondence Letter is sent once a study permit application is approved! However, my background check, review of eligibility and review of additional documents are still running!

Thanks in advance.
