Hi everyone, I have a question related to study permit applications. I have applied for a study permit in June, but haven't received any updates yet and was wondering if there is any way to speed up the process. The application still says the review of eligibility hasn't started yet. My classes will start by the end of September. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I dont think there's other way to expedite it, Sept is few days from today, you may consider defer to winter

It’s a very good idea to follow the immigration rules if you want to remain in Canada permanently.

Received an update on Wednesday. They started working on my file from Tuesday. I hope I will get it soon.

OMG, they gave me the decision today. Approved my study permit. I'm so grateful to IRCC. God bless everyone.

They said that convention refugees/protected persons are classified as domestic students. So, we don't have to pay international fees.

Hey kinda late but what info did you put for the passport expiry date. mine is expired and i’ve been trying to figure it out . whenever i book an appointment with caci it always gets difer to a date i’m not available. i understand if i have to difer a term (mine starts in august and i haven’t applied yet) but i can’t figure it out.
