Study Permit and Spousal Work Permit

Hi,

I have applied for study permit through Sri Lanka Visa Application Center (TTServices Canada) and at the same my husband applied for a open work permit. I have requested the Visa Application Center (VAC) to submit both applications together to the High Commission of Canada, in order to allow them to process both applications concurrently and VAC agreed to do so.

However, I received the call for medical examination, but my husband didn't receive such notice yet. I wonder whether the High Commission didn't consider our applications together.

In the usual scenario, should both of us get the call for medical at the same time? If there's anybody who has gone through the same process pl let me know.
