Study permit and immigration checkout at Airport.

Hello Friends,
I have booked a ticket which has transit at Toronto while I am traveling to Alberta. I will reach at terminal 1 of Toronto International airport and again flight from Toronto to Edmonton is from terminal 1. So I will wait at terminal 1 and I don't need to come out. But Toronto is my first entry point at Canada. Please suggest, I should follow Immigration checkout at Toronto or Edmonton? And again, where do I get my Study Permit.?

Lol you don't really have a choice, you have to pass through immigration on your first point of entry into Canada from an international flight. You'll have to pass through immigration at Toronto and that's where you'll get your study permit. Edmonton will just be a domestic flight.

You will get your study permit at the first port of enty. You have to go through immigratiom to get your passport. Then you have to claim your baggages and then go to local flight gate
