Hi
Recently I realized that CBSA officer made a mistake on my country of birth in the study permit.
Can I still apply for a SIN number or should I have to wait until my study permit being corrected?
I saw some posts here that the amendment takes some time, so I am just wordering if I can apply for my SIN first and then send it to amendment.
There are two addresses on IRCC´s website for amendment. which one should I pick if I want to send it by Canada post and able to track it?
Addresses:
Amendment to the Record of Landing, Confirmation of Permanent
Residence or Temporary Resident Document
Operations Support Centre (OSC)
P.O. Box 8784 STN T CSC
Ottawa, Ontario K1G 5J3
If sent by private courier or registered mail:
Amendment to the Record of Landing, Confirmation of Permanent
Residence or Temporary Resident Document
Operations Support Centre (OSC)
365 Laurier Avenue West,
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Thank you
