Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
guys I am just wondering is it really possible to obtain study permit under general category even if I am 31 years old.I applied under SPP for sept2012 but my visa got refused for study mismatch, now I got offer letter for Jan 2013 intake from humber but i am really wondering is age really matters coz I wont seen many ppl past 30 who applied study permit and got it... I have been told by one of the consultant that CIC is really reluctant to give visas to mature student and they always give some reason to refuse in disguise because they cant refuse visa directly just for age..is that true

1. You don't see many people of your age because there actually are not many of your age who apply for visa. This doesn't mean if they apply the would get rejection based on age factor.

2. But you case should not give the impression to VO that you actually want to move to canada based on your SP. You should be a genuine student going for a course that justifies your intention of studies otherwise you can face refusal based on 'purpose of visit'

Yes it is very possible to have study visa for you ,make sure you choose course which match your academics ,and somehow related to your experience if possible .
Make sure, your SOP will be so strong ,and reflects that you really wanna study again after a long gap.

can u let us know if u received visa

As long as the purpose of visit is genuine and college confirmation letter and financial stuff is ok, you should apply without having any fear.

You will get it..
