Hi,
I applied for a study permit to the Canadian Embassy at Ankara (Turkey). I'm an Iranian student. I recently received an email that's made me very confused, I'm pasting the main part here:
" We are writing regarding your visa application/s to Canada. In order for us to be able to finalise your application/s, we kindly request that you provide the following information/documentation by e-mail:
CV (no gaps)
Intended field of study
Supervisor in Iran
Intended Supervisor in Canada
List of publications "
The reason I'm confused is that I'm an undergrad student, I don't have any publications in my name! It seems to me that they may have mistaken me for a PhD/master's student instead. I was just wondering if it's normal for them to ask for such additional information from an undergrad student.
I checked my application and supporting documents several times. I have indicated to them in all my documents clearly that I am pursuing an undergraduate education in Canada. Why would they then ask me for such info that normally undergrad students can not provide?
I have no idea what to do now, I'm so confused. They've said in their email that I MUST only send them (via email response) what they've asked for and nothing else. I'm scared they may refuse me.
Thanks for your help.
