Study Permit – Applicants from Pakistan – Intake: September 2019 and January 2020

Medical request received/ Medical Updated to Passed on July 11th;
Biometrics Correspondence letter received on July 22nd

Nothing since then. Review of eligibility says; "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements." And Background check is being processed too.

I will be sending an enquiry to check as mine has surpassed 8 weeks

Just for admission purpose that is. I do know that i have to get them attested while applying for visa but i don't want to lose any more time. Please respond so i can apply for admissions.

All you need to do is just scan your original degree and transcripts on their online portal. I am sure all universities and colleges ask for email or scanned copies of your results and then give you an offer of admission. After that they will usually mention to submit your official transcripts (which usually means you photocopy your original, have it attested from your institution and send it in their envelope)...

I received my biometrics correspondence letter on July 28 after my medical was passed on July 14 and till date waiting for my final decision....

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you an update that everything on my online account got updated yesterday in the morning and my application has been approved. I posted in the other Pakistani group and I'll post my details here as well.


Applied paper based at VFS Lahore: June 21
Upfront Medical: June 12
Linked application online: June 25
Medical updated to passed: June 26
Medical Status Change to no medical Required: June 28
Medical Request despite upfront medical: July 7
Webform and email submitted to link upfront Medical and response received on: July 14
Medical passed online: July 14
Biometrics correspondence letter: July 28
Email to submit Passport without any letter or update on GC account: August 8
Passport Submitted: August 9
Online account updated with TRV issuance and expiry date of visa: August 16.

A few things I wanted to point out, it mentioned the following:

July 7, 2019 Your eligibility has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below. (this is when I received my medical request) so it looks it was reviewed long ago

June 21, 2019 Your background check was completed. (even though I submitted my app on June 21, so I don't think it's possible to have background updated on same day) I guess it's just a glitch that they have and things get updated all at once..

Now just waiting for the passport to be returned.

Just walk in and no appointments necessary for PP submission, either you take your PPR request letter and if you did not receive a letter than print out the email and submit that email copy along with your passport and you should get it back within a week...
