HI! I have a question regarding a student visa who have completed only 40% of studies on May 2021 intake due to covid sickness of a family. Can the student still back to school even its more than 150 days gap on May 2022 Intake granting that the visa is still valid until 2023?

The gap is more than 150 days and the school offered to be enrolled this Winter 2022 for open studies so that the student can still push with 50% of studies and back to a normal application for the May intake 2022.

If the student will not get the open studies this winter 2022 and push with the May 2022 intake, is it affect the submitted application for the student's PR through parents sponsorship?
