I've heard that chances of getting visa and permanent residence are extremely high in New Zealand.
The only con is that the cost of living and the education are as well extremely high , one year in an university costs you around $20,000 us dollars ONLY tuition + $15,000 Cost of living.

http://www.immigration.govt.nz/pointsindicator/

Here you can find If you are eligible as a skilled worker(most of you are), maybe a new hope for people that has been unable to obtain pr in canada , or gotten study permit denied.

Hope it helps

Hi,

In the NZ immigration procedure, after passing out of min 1 year course, you can apply for a 1 year job search visa (if you don't get a job.. right away).... and then after getting a Skilled job in your area of study (usually it has to be listed under occupations in demand).. and passing the points system ( you need min. 100 points, and if you have a job, studied in NZ, young..it's not at all that tough to get 100 points)... you can easily get PR. Everything looks fine..isn't it? But main problem..is..THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO JOBS IN NZ. The economy is so small.. and opportunities are so limited... that many many youngsters from NZ, are move to Australia for higher studies and job search! :( Sad.. because NZ is 1 of the best countries in the world to live in...
So... in reality... it's very very difficult to get a PR, after studies there.

Canada, is perhaps the last developed country left in the world, where getting a PR is still.. a reality and perhaps the only country in the world, which has 10 different options to immigrate after studies..for international students!

Canada Rocks! :D

Hi guys, pls help...........
I want to know that like in Canada, it is hard to get visa if we chose lower level course as Diploma level or PG level course after Masters even for specialization.
Is it same in other countries like Australia, New Zealand and UK? and Which country is good if one has refusal from Canada? what are the chances?
experts pls reply.
Thanks.

NZ is my second option after CN

Guys NZ is developing at very fast rate so u cant say its Job less totally. yeah, it s true that compared to CN it has not that humongous economically fit but it has been developing at very rapid rate.

One concern which I found there is if you have Non-relevant background, they usually offer 1 year Grad diploma of Level 6 rather than 1 year PG Diploma.

and its common mentality not to prefer Grad Diploma after B.Tech and Work Ex even.

So if there is NZ education like this then it would be super to make the things clear as Uni Websites are not informational n clear as Canadian Univ, you have to hammer it hard to extract the required info.

Hi,

As far as Australia and NZ is concerned, if your record is clean, meet the required academic and financial eligibility criteria for joining a particular course, then usually one has no problem studying in countries like Australia and NZ. There are no such rules of choosing appropriate course level in Australia or NZ... as long as you get admission in a recognized educational institute , and have got clean record & enough money to spend!

In all countries you can get success or failure, depending upon your individual background, capacity and circumstances.

There is a diff betwn PG diploma f 1 year in CN and in NZ.

NZ one is the first year of Masters there and even it reuires the relevant background. If yes, univ offer Grad Diploma of one level down than PG level. So the thing is that we have to decide that whthr we want to go for Grad Diploma aftet B.Tech and work exp or not .whats ur intake/ sugestion ??

Also, have heard dat senior management level are not prevailing much there after completing MBA degree there
