Hi,

I am thinking to apply for the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba. Please tell me how that university is and what job prospects a student will have after graduating from that varsity

What are the job opportunities in your home country for going to the University of Winnipeg? What are you studying? That is what you have to show the VO.

I am planning to opt for Masters of Management (part-time) in the University of Winnipeg. I am hail from India therefore, I do not know much about the varsity and its programs.

Part -time will be a No from VO. Choose a FT course related to your previous studies/exp.

So you don’t want a PGWP (work permit) if you are part time. Again why do you need to take a Masters in Management and how does it help your career in India? You don’t have Canadian experience and don’t know your work experience so can’t say your job prospects.

Seriously, U mean that with part-time program I could not get a PostGraduate Work Permit. I was looking for this degree because I could have managed my expenses in Canada.

I have over three years of experience as a content writer and marketer. Can you suggest a good degree then?

Also, what VO stands for ?

Visa Officer.

You have to be a full time student. It is one of the PGWP requirements and is very clear that part time studies are not acceptable. To get a study permit, you have to show you can afford to study without working. You can only work 20 hours part time off campus.

Sorry, can’t suggest a degree. It is your career and future.
