It varies by every country. Where are you from?

Basic common steps are.

Prepare financial documents/ collect funds.
Prepare academic documents.
Go for pre-medical
Apply for visa.

You can shortlist universities depending on your previous academic qualification into 3 categories- Dream, Achievable, safe.

I got admission in Dalhousie University in Sept.2013 intake yesterday for Masters in Internetworking. I have to put forward my file but I got 5.5 bands, so any body can tell me is their any chance for getting visa approval.

IELTS result does not effect Visa. It is not a requirement by CIC.

HI,
don't attach your IELTS result card in your Visa application........as you must accepted by the university without IELTS......So your low gradein ielts might create low level of establishment.

Don't worry. University will tell you what to do. Like do this, that, apply for study permit etc. And once there then you can seek for further guidance.

Tips for Applying in Uni:

Give IELTS asap.
and get good reference letters.

Apply for new passport before hand.
Next step after you get admission.

i was planning to take up 1 yr pg certification program at George brown college toronto in strategic communication marketing with co-op for JAN 2014 intake

age 25 yrs education 10th- 73% 12th -73 % B.pharma : 61% full time PGDM in MARKETING & FINANCE : 79 %

more than 2 yrs of full time work ex

as i found out there are very informed people here i would love to have their opinion about which college to choose and which province to go for the marketing and communication field

Obligation : budget MAX 25000$ duration of course -MAX 16 month field : marketing and communication

objective : to get decent job and eventually PR

please let me know which province i can look for and which college i can aim for also which program i can opt for considering all the obligations and objectives
