I am an Indian citizen, living in Abu Dhabi.I have received a Letter of Acceptance from two colleges in Canada -one;is for a two-year diploma in Medical Office Management from Algonquin College,Ottawa and two;a two-year diploma in Library and Information technology from Seneca College Toronto.I intend to do my Masters after this in either Human resouces management or Library sciences.I wish to take my two children along with me(my husband, who will remain in the UAE,will pay for our study and expenses).I am having a little difficulty in choosing amongst the two courses and want anyone to give me some clarifications based on the following:

1)Do my children have to apply for a TRV along with my application?
2)Will my husband's bank statements be enough for Proof of Funds?
3)The chances of applying for a PGWP-Can I apply while studying or after course
completion?
4)The chances of getting a job, based on either one of the courses, once I graduate (to
help contribute to my education further).
5)Cost of living/affordability of living in Ottawa as opposed to Toronto.
6)Is there a better chance of me getting a Study Permit from Toronto as opposed to Ottawa(so I have heard, mayb I'm wrong).

Please guide with your honest opinions.

Thanks

1. Yes. And, all applications should be sent in one envelope
2. Most likely no if you are not paying partial tuition in advance
5. Chances of visa approval quite slim for both courses.

Hi J5M,

Thanks for ur reply.Yes,I will be including the receipt with for the payment of the advance tuition. You did mention my chances of getting a visa approval as slim.Is it because it is not a Post Graduate course? I did not mention that I am a 40-year old who had completed her graduation about 20 yrs ago.I did apply for a Masters degree in two Canadian universities but they said I did not meet the 4-year Bachelor's Degree requirements(my BA degree was for 3 years),which was why I applied for a diploma, and on its successful completion, hope to apply for a Masters in Human Resources or Library Sciences, which is my ultimate goal.

My question to you is, if I submit a detailed SOP explaining my intention of choosing this course and my future course of action (i.e to pursue my Masters),will they look at my case in a different light(hopefully positive).

Thanks
