study in Canada from refugee status in england

I came to england by study permit in 2021.
But after coming here I did not continue my study. I claimed asylum.my asylum application is not granted yet but I have been given two years work permit. My case still is in progress.
Few days ago I had a consultation with an Canadian agency. After the conversation he referred my profile to an RCIC. Then after reviewing it he said I am eligible for Canadian study permit.
Because being an asylum seeker in england will not be a problem for getting Canadian student visa.
My question is it true?
Am I eligible for canadian student visa despite being an asylum seeker in england?.
note: I passed H.S.C in 2018 . there is almost 5years gap and I came england by student

Why do you want to study in Canada, when you already had or have an opportunity to study in the UK ?
Why Canada ? Tbh , it doesn’t make sense .

Btw the IRCC is the only authority that can tell you if you’re eligible and be approved for a study permit .

That’s incorrect. It can be an issue in getting a student visa . Canada can possibly assume that you’ll claim asylum here if you obtain a student visa. You currently don’t have any status in the UK. Just a pending asylum claim

Studying in Canada doesn’t guarantee you PR . So you claimed asylum to get PR faster ? You’d have extremely slim chances to get any type of visa to enter Canada until you get your asylum claim sorted out.
Canada could assume you’d arrive here on a student visa , stop that , and claim asylum .

obviously not. I had some issues. now these are solved. Want to continue my study. But thinking to study in Canada that's it.
Anyway that is not my questions topic. You are not even answering that.

Your only chance of coming to Canada would be if you qualified for PR. Given that you have filed asylum and don’t have status you would have minimal proof that you would return to your home country if you entered Canada on a temporary basis. To get approved for a student you have to prove strong ties to your home country and that your Canadian education would lead to career advancement in your home country. Technically you can apply but realistically you are propbablystuck in the UK until the outcome of your asylum case unless you want to return home.

Hey, calm down. You can always apply. But think you are the officer. Someone went to the England to study but did refugee claim. Person not settled yet. No pr, good job, family, house, car, money, etc. And same person wants to come to your coin to study.

That is my concern. One RCIC told me that I can get the visa but I did not believe it.

To get a study permit, you need to show funds (pay tuition plus show minimum of $10k Cdn.), justify costs by showing education and career advancement (higher pay/promotion), showing job opportunities in your country of citizenship, proof of ties to return to country of citizenship. Because of your claim, it will be next to impossible to be approved. Focus on finishing your studies in the UK.

Maybe they said you can apply which is correct but getting approved is very different. Were they trying to get you to hire them? Unfortunately many consultants promise things in order to secure clients. You can actually apply without hiring an immigration consultant.

Immigration Consultant wont tell you, you are not eligible, thats their primary business. Common test in all temporary residence application is demonstrating that you will RETURN to your country of origin after the end of temporary stay. In your situation, the fact you claimed asylum in UK, you do not meet that test. Now assuming, your plan is not to study in Canada but to claim another Asylum since you had study visa in UK but you didnt, your chances are almost zero. Hope this help

Answer is NO.
You will not get any sorts of Canadian Visa.
