Hi
Dear can anyone guide me that i have done my b.com in 2010 and after that i join a local firm as Assistant Finance Manager and again i start my studies in 2013 and done my m.com in 2015. I want to ask,can i get admission in a pg diploma program in any Canadian college?
will this gap of 2.5 years in my two degrees create any problem in getting study permit?

if you present evidence you did work in the firm after finished the school , you are fine.

but the proof needs to be SOLID because one of my friend was working as a desk manager in a hotel and he submitted the letter of experience but still he was rejected and the reason given was u don't justify your gap.
BEST OF LUCK

Try justifying your gap. FROM VO perspective having a MCOM degree and going for a diploma course does not make sense, unless it is something really specialized.

I have completed B.Com in 2004 and from then I have been working in MNC's. Now I have applied for international business and waiting for Visa since Nov. My case will be a prefect example for others, if I get Visa then gap should not be a matter. My CanAm consultant told me that there is a guy who is 45 yrs of age, has 15 years of education gap & still got Visa for a university in Canada.

So it all depends on case to case basis. Lets see how it goes, keeping fingers crossed.

Hi folks,
I just got my Canadian PR. I am 38 years old (almost) and have a 15 year gap in my education. I would like to use the opportunity I've got now to study for a masters degree. However, an educational consultant in India told me that Canadian universities don't admit students who have more than 5 years gap in their education. Can someone shed some light on this? The visa itself is no problem as I already have a PR visa.

completely wrong.
I took a class with a lady who was in her 60s , 40s.

the age and study gap doesnt matter to study in Uni.

talk to admission at the school you wanna study.

since you are PR, you do not need to consultant, especially give you false information.

Good luck.

I got my graduate certificate in August/ 8/ 2008. Can I apply for student visa for SEPT 2018 intake? Will it exceed 10-year intake limit? I was all these period in IT industry and I want to pursue a course in project mgmt.

Hi all,
I have completed my masters in Dec 2014 but i have got backlogs and i cleared it in May 2016. But my course Completion certificate got in Feb 2017. Now I am planning to Apply for May or Sep 2018 intake in Canada. Is there any problem with this gap of clearing backlogs? And Is there any chances of visa rejection. Please share your reviews.
