Hey Guys,

I got admission in a canadian college for hospitality management program . I finished B.tech in IT in 2008.But i don't have work experience related to hospitality field or any other field since 2008. But my profile is

10th=83%
12th=87%
b.tech IT=63%
IELTS=7(overall score).

Is there any chance that i can get study visa for canada? Kindly help me with this. Thanks ...

hey dude, your course is not relevant. VO will definitely reject your application or you should make strong SOP to explain them that why you are changing your feild. Moreover, if you were doing nothing since 2008, this will be your second major reason for rejection.

Wait for more replies from senior members.

Hey guys,

Thank you for your valuable advice. Shall i show some fake experience (for 1 or 2 years) related to hospitality industry?I am already having experience certificate (fake) for 3 years in computer hardware, but don't have pay slip or other related documents? Is that a good idea?

or else i shall apply with strong SOP alone (without exp cert) stating.... tourism and hospitality industry in India is growing at a fast pace. huge demand is there for professionals and india is lagging in hospitality studies bla...bla.. bla....by including statistics from minsitry of tourism . Need your help. Thanks in advance.

Also tell me how long the college will take to refund my fee, if I apply in written for refund stating visa is rejected . Written refund application means sending e-mail is enough or i need to send hard copy to college? Need your help guys. thnx in advance....

apply for course which is related to ur previous study i.e which is related to IT ,and after going there u can change to the course u want.
but if u go for visa with hospitality and management u'll have high chances of rejection.
do not risk.
even if u choose a course related to IT do not forget to provide relevant work exp or else u'll face a rejection.

Choose only an it based course.. As ur education compliments it..
Secondly.. U r a graduate.. So only choose a post graduate level of course.. No fast track stuff..

Go for a pg certificate course or a masters degree if possible.. Depends on how bad u want this..
This wud show logical progression of studies..

Gap is bad so ue sop shud explain it in detail.. Also the exp shud be relevant.. IT field is preferable..

This is to up ur chances..

Its very funny to hear that this person is planning to switch from IT to hospitality .The number of rejection is high in hospitality ,me too got one in last sept....
