Study choice different than previous studies???

Hello Everyone.

I hold a bachelors degree in Media Science. But I’m a stay at home mom since 8 years . I volunteer at shelters and schools alot and now I would like a career shift and take a post graduate diploma (Social Services Worker ) or Early Childhood Education and Care.

Would my Study permit get refused even if I explain in an SOP.

Anyone out there in my situation and got approval?

Well I had to postpone even though I got accepted in a university in BC because my husband had to stay and will not be able to travel with me. So maybe in a year or 2.

I didn’t apply. I didn’t go ahead with the student visa.
