hey everyone
i have got study visa refusal in 2009 and it was stamped on passport with application number and date of refusal........after that i have completed my masters in india........the reason i got for the refusal was that they are not satisfied whether i will come back to india after my completion of course...........now my wife is canadian pr and i was worried whether there will be any problem this case?..............as the refusal was 5 years ago and now that my marriage is also real and i have also copleted my masters in india

If you want to know if a former visa refusal due to risk of overstay will affect your or your spouse's PR application, the answer is no.

However, sometimes things get complicated. Did you marry a woman who was already PR when you married? If you did, she can sponsor you and there is no problem.

Or did you marry her when she was not PR and she got PR in the meantime? If that is the case, she should have included you on her application, either as accompanying or not. If she didn't, there is trouble.
