Yes, I submitted my SPP file to VFS New Delhi on 7th May 2013 and the Passport Status is :
"Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 08/05/2013 and is under processing"
I did get a phone call from Embassy on 13th May to reconfirm Work and Education details and not heard anything since.

10th : 61% 2001 , 12th 58% 2003 , BSc 72% 2006 and 6 Years of Work Experience since then
Also completed MBA International Business 2012 from Distance mode CMJ University
Lambton College : Sep 2013 : PG International Business Management
IELTS : 7.5 Band
GIC : $10100
1 Year College fee : $13200 Paid.
Every passing day makes it difficult to have more patience and faith. I am just waiting for good news. Share if any of you guys get Visa for Sep 2013 intake.

CMJ University has been banned and all degrees conferred by it are considered ilegitimate.
I know this because I am frm Assam , and news of CMJ university are making rounds!!!

Just got an acceptance letter from Humber for Global Business Management for Sept 2013 intake under non SPP, now need your valuable suggestions regarding showing my funds, m planing to pay 1st semester fee by my own savings.

1. how much money i should show in my account and my sponsors savings account?
2. What all things are important for a smooth for a smooth transition.

I just came to know that non spp takes little longer, so all suggestions are welcome because i think i have very little time.......

Hello Folks,

If you are applying for Student visa under SPP or non-SPP, please make sure you follow the checklist properly in terms of financials. Dont produce unnecessary documents, keep it simple. Bank loan, receipt of payment and GICs are sufficient.

On program of study part, finding a recognized educational instuition is very important. Doing a course just for Landing do not help. Do your homework, choose a course that is relevant to your field of study. The visa officers looks at this carefully.

IELTS Score - Overall 6 is mandatory for SPP institutions. 6.5 for University Masters/phd related studies. Sometime visa officers go easy on this. Depending on the students interest and relevancy to their undergraduate studies. That being said dont expect visa for less than 6 overall band (except rare cases).

Hi All,

Applied for International Business Management PG in Fanshawe college & Seneca college during first week of May.
Seneca has requested for my IELTS score and sent it to them. Also checked with them during last week and got a reply saying all the documents were received by them on 23rd of May and my documents are with the admissions advicer and will take 2-3 weeks for processing.

Not yet recieved the offer.

Fanshawe has not yet replied.

Do u think there is a good chance I will get admission in Seneca ? and does Fanshawe take this long to reply ? Please advice

Yes. Each and every document except original passport ;D and original medical form has to be notarized.
