Hi . My student visa online application for sept 2019 received by IRCC on 5th april 2019, Biometrics updated on 9th April 2019. Upfront medical done and status got passed. Yesterday 25 May 2019, got biometrics correspondence letter from Abu Dhabi office. Now passport request is awaited. Hoping for a positive reply.

My first application for January 2019 intake got rejected
Refusal letter- purpose of visit
Caips notes- lack of travel history, considering my academic and employment history not sure why pursuing the course at this point of time in Canada etc
Course enrolled- Diploma in network administration ( oxford college, a private college in Ontario) Because agent told me that i wont get admission in public institutions and they messed up my SOP

10th- 80% (2006)
12th- 74% (2008)
Btech computer sc- 60% (2012, had 15 backlogs all cleared)
I have been working since then (no gap) almost 6 years of total work experience in IT operations and business support
After the rejection, I changed my agent and my course.I applied in March for a new course and got offer from Saskatchewan Polytechnic for a PG program in IT for sept intake and my agent said my chances are favourable than in Ontario. The course covers all the topics relevant to my UG course and my work experience. Paid one year fee, GIC, IELTS, funds, work experience,itr and other supporting documents. Then my agent prepared a strong Sop for me which mainly focusses on course, contents, Canada, future goals etc
IELTS Score - L-8.5, R-7.5, W-7.5, S-7.5; overall - 7.5
Applied for visa online on May 23rd..What are my chances? I am so worried...Please could someone advise

You have done your best and the agent as assisted you alao. Your application is still new . continue to place faith in whatever you believe in. Let hope for the best and wait for there update which we can able to guess your chance for visa

- 26/04: I applied for SDS at VFS office in Vietnam and took Biometrics there on the same date. I also submitted to VFS the letter from the clinic where I took medical tests.
- 29/04: is under process at the IRCC Office (email notification from VFS).
- 21/05: I linked paper application to online application and here are the status showed till now:
- Eligibility: "Your application is in progress...we will send you message when we start reviewing your eligibility."
- Medical: "We are reviewing..."
- Biometrics: "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."
- Background: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Please someone helps to tell me if they started reviewing my application as it's one month till now. I saw you guys mentioned about student acknowledgement letter and correspondent letter, what are they actually? I haven't had any and now get more panic.
Btw I apply for MEd at University of Victoria, B.C.

I got this update in my application
Background: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
And got a Biometrics letter. I will be giving biometrics next Saturday as the VFS is in another state so i have to make a long journey.
