I did not need medical as I applied from Spain. Also, I did not need any visa.WowCongrantulation !!

For studying in Canada, I need the study permit approval and eTa.
Can someone please tell me if I should have marked YES / NO on the IMM5707 Family Form where it says 'will be accompanying you to Canada'.
My father will be coming with me to Canada on the same day but he will only stay for 2 weeks as a tourist. Is he accompanying me to Canada or not? What should I have marked there YES / NO?

Hi guys,
I recently (May 4th, 2019) applied for the Student Permit visa application (ONLINE) for Canada from Pakistan as I have been accepted into the Global Affairs Masters Program at the University of Toronto. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in May 2018 from the University of Massachusetts (USA). I intend to start at Munk in Fall 2019. However, on May 15th, 2019 my Study Permit application was refused on the grounds that; "You have not submitted written documentation from the educational institution where you intend to study that states that you have been accepted to study there.
• you submitted an offer of admission rather than a letter of acceptance...."
The University has sent me a letter of explanation to confirm Acceptance and I will be submitting it alongside my other documents as supporting evidence. Other than the new Letter, should I submit any other additional documents? Has someone else received a similar reason for refusal? What materials did you submit and what is the current status of your application?
I did not submit an SOP with my previous application. Do you recommend submitting one this time in order to highlight my academic background and career goals ?

2.Apply Date - April 16,2019 with biometric submission at VFS Pune, India
3.Canada counsulate visa office Bangalore, India got my file on 23 April, 2019
4.Medical passed
5. Got correspondence letter of biometric On 10 May 2019
6. Sds entry for Sept 2019.

Please for those writing sops, i just want to give you ideal in case if you don't know what sop is all about . You need your sop to be in bullet form with each talking about a certain aspect...
no1. should start with your introduction/background...your full name, date of birth, where you are from, name of your family...where they are from....i see sops with no introductions, no format...just go straight to I am dis, I did this here, I have certificate in this, bla bla bla...thats why vo use vague cos it's vague.
No 2, talk about why you are doing so so course...this is where you try to align your previous degree with wat your intended course, pick some courses in your final year or 3rd year to align with it. Also here is where u talk about your experience, what you have been doing after your degree that pushed u to wanna do so so course. This is where u need to be very very very CONVINCING. Spend more time here than any other place...
No3, and 4, should talk about why canada and why so so school... Google can do that for u...
No5, should be titled Travel history.. here even if u have not left your country before since you were born..you just tell the vo, you haven't been opportune to travel outside of your country before but I have had the chance to travel to (name all the states you have gone to), which gave you the opportunity to experience different cultures and traditions, visit different places. Each time you travelled, I always respected and obeyed the laws, rules and regulations of the state/country and always returned home because there's no place like home (your country /state).
No 6, the home ties... here pls try to list all the full names of your family and their respective date of birth starting from your dad wat he does, to the last person in the family where all of you are from again. This saves the vo time to start checking for their birth certificates...
Finally, Your plans after studies, this is where you need to actually show you have a plan or something that you tend to offer to your country wen you return (new ideas to improve the economy or employment for people, it can be anything so long it's realistic and possible). This aspect actually helps you to avoid purpose of visit in a way....
If you noticed I didn't include anything concerning how much I have in my account or my sponors cos I believe as long as I submitted a bank statement the vo should look at it there...this avoids the vo focusing so much on how much I am making or have...
Others might have done something different (sops) and got their approvals, . also try to grow the habit of praying cos that's the power you have over the vo...

Any other update?Guys it's been 6 weeks..I still did not get my medical request

Medical passed. Got my correcpondance letter of biometric on 10 may but still no final decision.
You have been approved its just to update your application status ... send them a message through webform and if you are lucky they will update your application status by Monday or Tuesday ...
I applied on 15th April - general category biometric submitted on 18th April and then 29th was 1st acknowledgment 13th May was my 2nd acknowledgment..since then no update.
