Timeline:

Non Sds online application submitted- 18th June
Biometric request letter - 19th June
Biometric Submission - 25th June
1st Acknowledgment letter - 2nd July
2nd Acknowledgment letter - 16th July
Medical updated - 19th July
Passport request and correspondence letter - 22nd July

it's the same for me as well, i applied on 19 may 2019, medical passed on 24 may, i saw 4 ghost updates but still waiting for the result. What's wrong with these dates, please keep updating us.

Medical upfront
Applied visa on: 18 june(non-sds online)
Biometric on: 26 june
Passport request : 16 july
Submitted pasport on : 19 july

Do Passport request guarantee visa approval?
I got the email saying thay “we have made a decision and need your passport to finalize”

Worried a bit.
Plz help

Hello all,

I submitted my application on June 26th. I gave my biometrics on July 1st. I got my medical passed status on July 15.

Application type: SDS online
Country: India

It's been more than 20 calendar days since my biometrics and I haven't got any updates after the medical.

Although, I've submitted TOEFL instead of IELTS, because one of my batchmates did the same for SDS and he got his study permit. Is this the reason for the delay?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hello my time line is exactly the same as you Even I got 2 Acknowledgment letters same date as you got.. but no update then ... I’m worried. Mine is also Non sds online ..

Nah,there are plenty of people here who are waiting for more than 40 days even though they applied through sds.I don't know how the embassy works some people how applied in May and june are still waiting and some who applied in july got their visas.I applied 20th june and submitted biometrics on 24th june I am still waiting my intake is september Don't even know if I will make it in time.

I applied for study permit last week and my background check said:

Background check
  • Not applicable.
but now it is showing as:

  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Did you all see this or is it just me?
