Is there anyone applying for January intake in any Canadian University?

I need to find people who are going to apply in Electrical and Computer Engineering dept for Masters.

So, anyone there?

Count me in too..

Can you please suggest some courses related to computer sciences in a moderate university where we can expect admission...My degree percentage is 68%...

Thanks

Hi, I am from Nigeria. Applying for M.Eng Mechanical Engineering at uni. Of Manitoba for January 2014, No work experience after graduation. Plz wat r my chances?

Hi,

@gowobo
The requirements vary from university to university. It is best that you choose the university according to the requirements they ask for so that you can increase the chance of getting selected. If you have got a very good academic record then work experience is least concerned.

No idea.. the only way is to select a bunch of universities and go through its webpage looking for admission requirements and select the best out of them.

Hi guys,

I suggest you to apply to some top schools in your field (prime choices), and at the same time to a couple of "safety schools" that might not be that highly ranked, but where you're almost sure to get in. Otherwise, if you select all the universities from top 10 there's a pretty high risk of receiving denials everywhere.

All of your school choices are fine and above average. IELTS is very good for any program. I have doubts about judging GPA as I don't know the system in India. In general, all admission officers have a comparison scale of GPA for all countries, and a recommended GPA (3.0/4.0) is just a general guideline. If yours is based on a 10 point scale, then I'd say it should be fine for MS, but might be a little low to apply for PhD. Since you're going for MS in Eng try to get a maximum score on a GRE quant part and you should be all set.
Another suggestion is that three applications isn't enough. Research some more and apply to minimum 5-7 schools.
