Hi, I applied for a study permit and for my husband's open work permit. I received an email saying we were both approved. However when I log in to my cic I only got my letter of approval for the study permit but not my husbands work permit letter of approval. We applied early in December. Should I wait?

thanks in advance for your input

Not required, since your husband's is Spouse dependent open work permit, he will not receive a separate letter, your letter is sufficient.

Good luck....

Hi there, congrats.

My wife and I are in a similar situation. We are about to apply for her study permit and I was hoping on applying for an OWP along with her. Are there any special pointers you could give us, like any special document you submitted or anything you wrote on your SOP etc. Would appreciate a world of advice for sure.

Thanks a lot

Hi, I'm applying the Spouse dependent open work permit for my wife now. But I'm not sure about few things here and hope to get your help.
1. I'm using the on-line application system for visa. there are three type of work permit when answer the questionaire. in this case, I should select 'work(other)', correct?
2. in IMM1295E, there is section about 'details of intended work in canada' which i don't know how to fill, we are still outside of Canada and my wife didn't have any job offer in Canada. Should i just fill 'NA' in this section?
Thanks
