I am deferring my course to Jan 2021. I am getting back to studies after 5 years, so I would rather prefer in-person classes. Also, if I am paying 25,000 CAD, then the least I would want is an in-person class. But if the borders don't open by Jan 2021, then I shall begin with my online classes.

Please share your plan and reasoning, so everyone can mutually benefit.

Even if you start your classes online, it doesn’t mean you will be doing this for the whole time. It is just 1 or may be 2 semesters that you might have to do.

Having said that if you are enrolled in 1 year program then it is worth because as per the current rule you have to complete at lest 50% course in canada. So if in case the restrictions are stil there in jan then you are stuck with online classes and then you are not eligible for PGWP.

I am deferring too... got my aip on 14th august... is there any problem if we defer to jan?

Got my AIP on 14th Aug and Deferring My intake to Jan 2021 Because I haven’t got my complete visa yet and incase of 2nd stage refusal I am not sure whether my college will refund the fees if I start the online classes for fall term.

Guys...I can't defer. Is there no hope that I can travel by December end this year?

P. S. I got the Visa before March 18th.
