My sister wants to come to montreal and study here as a homecare course
but since June,1,2014
we must get the DLI (Designated learning institutions) number
but the shcool start on september I check CIC every day if they update the DLI
but nothing's going on
vocational school can not get the DLI? only cegep or college ?
anyone knows?

Unfortunately there's not much you can do but wait. CIC is going to continue updating the DLI numbers until July. All public colleges will be DLIs. I suspect not all vocational schools will be DLIs.

Hi,
try to contact your school, if they are DLI, they can definitely provide you with DLI number.
My college has provided me DLI number upon my request at that time when CIC was not even showing my college at all.
So give it try.
