Student Visa Validity

I got my student Visa when I was admitted to DLI 1 - university of victoria - in 2019 but didn't end up going, and went to another university close to home. Now I have transferred to DLI 2 - university of manitoba, and will go there in Jan/Feb 2021 (whenever covid relaxes a little).

My Visa had a Validity of 4 years. Can I use the same visa to travel?

You get accepted in the university, they send you the letter.

Check your visa, there is normally a deadline date to enter the country before it revoked.

I believe you have to apply for both visa and SP all over again. The reason is that your visa is only valid if you are attending your enrolled post-secondary institution. the Only exception would be if you are already in Canada and just need new SP.
Check the GC Key you applied through - most likely your counterfoil is invalid by now
